Despite largely overseeing the work that Cake does on a day to day, having worked in ecommerce since 2006, Cheryl is never afraid to get stuck into a business’ needs. Whether it be flexing her Shopify muscles or using her creativity to elevate a brand to the next level, the founder and former owner of Harper and Lewis is more than equipped to breathe life into a business.
Even with her adeptness in providing technical advice and strategy for ecommerce brands on Shopify and Shopify+, some of Cheryl's most treasured achievements at Cake have been away from the development desk. These include having founded Girl Code, a quarterly meet-up championing women in our industry, and ensuring that Cake is an agency that has positivity and inclusivity at its heart.

Started in Birmingham’s iconic Oasis Market, Harper and Lewis grew into a mainstay of the UK fashion scene, with Cheryl there from the start. It’s this passion for taking businesses to the next level that Cheryl carries forwards today.
Managing a team of developers and graphic designers for Cloggs.co.uk - not too different to her role as Agency director at Cake - Cheryl oversaw the development of 8 micro sites across Europe and drove growth for the business as a whole.
